School council

The Aspley State School Council has 6 members including:
  • Mrs Leann Griffith-Baker (Official Member)
  • Ms Victoria Edwards (Official Member)
  • Mrs Nelma Wright (Teaching Representative)
  • Ms Lynne Rossiter (Non-Teaching Representative)
  • Mr Stephen Solly (Parent Representative)
  • Mr Cameron Langton (Parent Representative) 
The role of the council is to monitor our school's strategic direction and support the Principal in an advisory capacity in all matters relating to strategic development. The Council members are responsible for approving and monitoring the implementation of plans, policies and other documents affecting strategic matter.
All members have well defined roles, responsibilities and functions, to ensure efficient and effective governance. The School Council's top priority is to perform these functions in a way that achieves the best learning outcomes for our students.
