Family Fun at the 96.5FM Live Broadcast

Despite the miserable weather, the Aspley State School Community didn't let a bit of rain spoil their fun!

The 96.5FM Family Show with Liam and Robbie made themselves at home on stage in the school hall and provided music and entertainment to the many parents and children who attended.

Our school choirs (Junior, Senior and Boys) came together to perform a wonderful performance of "Can You Hear the Children Marching?" by Nathan Cahill - well done to our wonderful Mrs Macca! The Aspley 125 Team cooked up a storm to feed the masses and were joined by The Salvation Army Coffee Van, who provided a much needed caffeine hit for our staff and parents after an earlier than usual start to the morning. St Johns Ambulance took our students through the basics of First Aide and people from Qld Cricket were on hand to supply cups of milo for our students.

It was a wonderful morning that would not have been possible without the efforts of June Reynolds. A big thank you must go the June, who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the Radio Broadcast such a big success.
