Crazy Hair Day for Students & Teachers

Friday 11 March is Crazy Hair Day, and all students are encouraged to wear their hair in weird and wonderful hairstyles.

This year we will be raising money for an Aspley student diagnosed with cancer. Let's get behind Kennedy and her family and make this year the most colourful and outrageous Crazy Hair Day yet! Please note: this is not a free dress day - students must still wear full school uniform. If your child has swimming this Friday they MUST NOT wear the coloured hair spray. They will not be permitted to swim if they do.

For some extra fun, students have the chance to create a crazy hairdo on one of our Aspley teachers.

Children in years 4, 5 and 6 can bring along $1 on Thursday or Friday morning in an envelope with their name and class written on it. Boxes with the participating teachers names will be placed on the eastern side of the hall both mornings before school. Students simply place their envelope into the box with their chosen teachers name on it.

During the first session on Friday, our School Captains will pull out names from each box. The winners will do the teachers hair at first break on the eastern side of the hall. All children are welcome to watch and all materials to decorate the hair will be supplied.
